Dear Hubbell Families,
!MUCHAS GRACIAS for allowing me the privilege to teach each of the unique students at Hubbell. I am writing to let you know that I will not be returning to Hubbell for the 2019-2020 school year. I have decided to take a leave of absence from teaching and focus on my own family this year. If you would like to keep in touch, please feel free to email me at [email protected] . I am thankful for all of the ways each Hubbell family has touched my life and I wish you all the best in the future!
Gracias, Maestra Rodriguez

Unit 1 (Sept-Oct)
¡Hola! Me llamo Maestra Rodriguez. I hope your child has been sharing their new Spanish skills with you at home. If they have, then you probably understood what you just read in Spanish! All Hubbell Kindergarteners should now recognize this as a way to introduce themselves. They can also now identify basic school vocabulary (see list below). The students will compare schools in Mexico to Hubbell. They can also understand and follow basic school rules in Spanish which ties into their current IB unit – Communities need structrues to help people interact with each other. Please encourage your student to use their new Spanish vocabulary at home as well. ¡Gracias!
